The Students’ Affairs Unit is a Unit under the Registry Department that is responsible for Students’ welfare and their general well-being on campus. It is headed by the Dean and assisted by the Sub-Dean and other supporting staff. The Unit also inform, direct and educate students about programmes and services of the College. It also enforces rules and regulations guiding students’ stay on campus.

The Students’ Affairs Unit is as old as this Institution itself with its pioneer Dean in the person of G.M.O. Igboamuchey assuming duties in 1990. His tenure lasted for six years. He held about four supporting staff in those formative years. His tenure ended in 1996. Rev. Fr. Luke Anameze served from 1997 to 1999.
Thereafter, Mrs Nzelum V. N. served from 2000 to 2007, and Dr. Tessy Okoli took the mantle and served from 2007-2009. Mr. Enwere E. C. was the next Dean and he served from 2009 – 2010. Dr. Tessy Okoli returned for a second stint and served from 2010 – 2013. Dr. J. C. Madichie was the next on the line as her tenure began in late 2013 and ended in 2014. Mrs Okafor C. U. took over from 2014 till 2016.
Presently, Dr. Ugwuogo C. C. is the Dean, Students’ Affairs. He assumed duties in 2016. He is being ably supported by the Sub-Dean in the person of Nwankwo, Nonye N. Other Sub-Deans that had served in the Unit include Dr. Okechukwu, G. C., Mrs R. N. Ofordile, Dr. H. N. Uzo-Okonkwo and Okafor, C. U. We also have a Deputy Registrar in the Unit in the person of Mrs Chidi Ifeoma M. The Sports Unit which is also part of Students’ Affairs Unit is headed by a Deputy Sports Director in the person of Okoye A. C. The supporting staff in Dean’s office, Sub-Dean’s office and Sports Unit is about fourteen (14) in number. However the staff strength of the whole
Students’ Affairs Unit is about 150 in number.
