The College has won the first position in the just concluded SERVICOM Compliance Evaluation Report of 21 Federal Colleges of Education and FCT College of Education, Zuba.
The report indicates the SERVICOM index of five drivers and weighted as follows:
In the overall index scores for evaluated service windows, FCE(T) Umunze scored 2.0 (50%) to beat FCE Zaria and FCE (S) Oyo, which emerged second and third places respectively with 1.9 (47.5%) and 1.8 (45%) scores respectively.
The overall objective of the SERVICOM Compliance Evaluation was to ensure citizen focused Service Delivery in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The Focal Officer, SERVICOM, FCE(T) Umunze Chapter, Dr Livinus Akamobi, said the evaluation was a rigorous exercise by the SERVICOM and expressed joy on the outcome.
In a related development, the Provost, Dr Tessy Okoli, has been conferred with a Servicom Ambassador Award in recognition of her commitment to quality service delivery in the College.
The award came during the working visit of the Servicom team to the College on Monday May 13- Wednesday, May 15, 2019. The team was led by Ngozi Akinbodewa, with Mohammed Medinatu as member.
While decorating the Provost with the Servicom crest, Mrs Akinbodewa said the investiture as ambassador has made the Provost the vanguard of SERVICOM in the College.
