The newly appointed Registrar, Mr. Eze Joachim, previously served as the Congregation Representative of the non-teaching staff in the
8th Governing Council of the College. Before his appointment, he was Deputy Registrar in charge of the Admissions Unit.
With over 30 years of service in the institution, Mr. Eze joined the College in 1996 as an Administrative Officer and rose through
dedication and diligence to the rank of Deputy Registrar. He has served on several committees of the College and maintained an
outstanding service record throughout his career.
In recognition of his exemplary performance, he received a commendation award in 2001 as the best staff member in the Students
Affairs Unit. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Senior Staff Welfare Association (SSWA), FCE(T) Umunze, a
position he has held since 2017.
Mr. Eze attended Abbot Boys Secondary School, Ihiala, Anambra State, where he obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate in
1987. He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in 1992. He also completed a
Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) at FCE(T) Umunze in 2016 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Sociology from Imo
State University in 2018.
He belongs to several professional organizations, including the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), Chartered Institute of
Administrators, Association of Nigerian Colleges of Education Professional Administrators (ANCOEPA), Teachers Registration Council of
Nigeria (TRCN), and the Institute of Corporate Administrators of Nigeria (ICAN), among others.
